These past few weeks I’ve seen so many things differently.

Believe it or not

• Two children that I never seen before can’t use any computer because the computer hangs after a few minutes even if you’ll removed explorer.exe as its shell.

I can have lots of customers but we must have some form of limitation or standard because each of them has different lives.

Example

• One customer punches his brother because of too much gaming.
• Computer viruses is very much related to real world viruses like common flu and sore eyes. These computer viruses serves an indication or warning to these kind of problems.
• Some families and business uses my system to actually solve their problems and attract more customers.
• Having fun is good and some people are using computers during their pass time.

Choosing the right thing is one of the best choices that serve as basic thing to prevent some problems to occur again and again.

There is nothing to lie in my writings… only a life to live.

If there’s a need for me to not tell the truth, therefore it means that there is a very important reason behind.

We live in the world that we are connected together. Learning to understand is the basic and standard way for us to live together. My job now is to keep myself moving and leaving behind all personal things.

Tough Times brings out the Best Ideas

Real life situation and personal problems generates great ideas if everybody will just dream anything.

Last year after I resigned from my work, I was so down that I don’t even know how the hell I can get back on my feet and get going again.

But I did not stop moving.

I let go on my personal problems and did not listen to all people around me, fighting with all my strength for recovery.

Personal things can get you stock where you are and who you are.

• Last year, I was so down that my debt is unimaginable that it seems impossible for me to get back in my feet for two years.
• I was contacting the only person that I can trust and help me but It did not helps.
• I was losing my property and realized that It was a big mistake investing for housing projects.
• I was left alone in the middle of nowhere that I don’t even know how to walk.

Amazingly, I did not stop learning, saving money as long as I can and learning how the *system* works.

After several months of learning how the system works….

Ideas came to me…

Now, I was able to make money researching for users interactions to computers for a very small investments.

Starting capital: Zero

For now the income only covers the expenses e.g. rent and salary of first two employees and I was able to move in to my new office located at #18 _______ here at Naga City, Philippines.

Work Work Work… This is my new office. The place is very cheap and good place to write softwares.

Starting this month, I’m going to develop software again and hopefully, next year I will get clients and start a very small IT company.

If possible, I’ll try to develop more of my skills but unfortunately, it will take time again.

I noticed that people doesn’t care anymore. They don’t even know how the system was developed.

If it works, its ok. If they are happy then great.

Of course,”no man is an island”. I’d like to thank everybody and other companies that still help me to distribute my softwares every single day.

I learned so many things in just few months.

Today, I feel very tired and stressed at work that I wanted now to give time writing softwares and publishing tips.

I did not win in the Nokia competition, It’s ok. Because of project, I was able to generate new idea and business in studying the users interactions.

Learning Times

Probably many of you already knew what happened in Quirino (ki-ri-no) Grandstand at Metro Manila, Philippines.

It was a sad and frustrating incident where eight Hong Kong Nationals died in the incident.

Facing the Truth

I did not grew up in the Philippine capital - Manila so, I also consider myself as one of the tourist even if I stayed their three to four years after my graduation.

These are several things that I noticed if I’m going to compare Philippines from other Countries which I visited like Malaysia, Singapore and Japan.

Manila, Philippines

• While on the road, drivers are always in a hurry. It’s like riding in a roller coaster every single day.
• Standards are not being followed for Houses, Small buildings, etc…. and because of this, the city are not designed in a large manner. There are plenty of ugly portion of the city.
• Undisciplined people
• Too many people and almost all places in Metro Manila are over crowded.
• Dangerous streets except Makati, Fort Bonifacio, Ortigas and other well developed areas.
• Cost of living - high and salary - low.
• Squatter Areas - Many people are still trying to stay in the city where they have small chance of getting a good life.
• Garbage problems and polluted rivers
• Heavy Traffic everyday
• It’s like people are now immune with problems and they don’t want to face the truth that Philippines is already left behind by other countries in Asia in terms of Infrastructure, Technology and Military capabilities.
• There is no unified system that makes the entire city easy to navigate

For most of the people I know - having family or personal things comes first. Work is only rank second. (This may have advantages and not true to all people)

Advantages in working and staying at Metro Manila

• Great work experience and the competition are strong in different skill levels
• Students has advantages in resources for learning that you cannot find in other places in the country e.g. Books and trainings
• Malls Malls Malls - Amazing giant supermalls around the city
• Plenty of Restaurants from cheap to very expensive
• Foods and other things that you need everyday are cheap.

Kuala-Lumpur, Singapore, Kobe - Japan

• All ugly portion of the city are covered with huge boards and walls
• The city are designed in a large manner (Engineering and Architectural Design)
• Nicely designed High-Speed Trains
• Buildings are scattered
• People are more civilized or disciplined
• Almost no squatters or beggars
• Expensive Transportation except Malaysia
• Less pollution due to small number of cars and people
• Cleanliness in the surroundings are being observed strictly
• Cost of living are very expensive

We have our own individual problems that needs to be solve, anyway, these are some things that I can share.

• It’s not enough that the Philippines will just focus in creating jobs from other countries e.g. Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Overseas Filipino Workers employment. The government needs to help the micro, small and medium-sized businesses to undergo several research and development that will help their business grow in a vast manner. Eliminating anomalies as possible, minimizing the cost and increasing the profits for expansion from local to abroad.
• The government must focus on solving problems directly as fast and efficient as possible.
• Learn how to control the media and people in order to have something unified approach or solution to the problem.
• The government must develop products locally not import technologies from other countries.
• Create branding of products and something unified approach in every system is good for the long term.

Border Problems

Lets tackle some of my childhood memories and make it like the Micro, Small, Medium and Large-scale Business around the world.

I remember when I was in the elementary grades. I used like to roam around the stores (micro-small enterprises) in the home town and It was great.

I’m always amazed with gadgets even if I don’t have money to buy that kind of stuff.

As long as I can see one. It’s ok and It’s fine.

Before, the only people that can afford these gadgets are above average and rich families (Medium and Large-scale Business).

If I can see the future 31 years from now, What will I do?

Of course I’m going to target everything from Micro, small and Medium enterprises and after 5 years, the large scale ones.

yeahhh…. It’s very simple idea but it works and most of the people likes it.

Not just for the rich but for the poor.

However, we are not living in the perfect world.

Some countries will be affected in the long term. For sure.

If I wanted to do business especially with first world countries - for example, I only have $40,000.

Can I do that? the chances are very small because of the BORDER PROBLEMS.

Me, I wanted to visit my uncle in Canada last year but I was denied.

It’s only a social visit. Family visit.

It’s very simple and I was denied.

What if I’m an investor and just trying to learn everything from customs, shipping, Visa and easiness in doing business?

Make it 100,000 investors doing that kind of micro and small enterprise of business.

Is that scary in the long term? of course….

Anyway, this is just my contributory idea and hopefully this helps.

I’m still learning with all my stuff this week.

Massive Spending

I was playing with my computer with air conditioning 100% running….

Then suddenly lots of my friends comes by to greet - say hi and what am I doing for the past few weeks.

I was so focus with many things that I became dumb for simple things. But now everything has changed.

We went out, exchange ideas and lots of things came to me for my small home business.

I only bring P20 or equivalent to $0.46 and I said to them, treat me ok!

There are too much to ask.

Several years ago, I’m always collecting Entrepreneur Magazine and now I can use them to generate new ideas.

We visit one store, one computer shop, restaurant and one thing I noticed….

MASSIVE SPENDING

• I think the physics of action and reaction is being applied too much.
• Filipinos love foreign goods (me too).
• There are only few locally manufactured devices that I can think of.
• Openness can be seen anywhere

Anyway, Its been great.

I’m so thankful for some ideas that I generated and I think in the next few days I’m going back publishing tips and updating my softwares.

I’m still waiting for the results at the Nokia Competition so for now, I can’t redistribute the variation of RegDevelop builds for Mobile Phone Automation.

I think its for the best and glad that I learned so many things.

Geeks Who Love Too Much

There are too much learn.

I learned so many things in my life for just few weeks…. It’s like I was put in an unknown world that I don’t even know how to walk and where will I go.

It was an adventure that started when my life went down and now starting to recover.

I know many obstacles are starting to come. Many people contradicts in my principle in life.

All I want to do is to understand and learn everything.

Love Love Love

Love for your work.

Love of what you are doing.

Love of the things around you.

Love and appreciating all gifts that was given to us.

Love for your friends and family.

My friends abroad ask me, Why are you staying in your place where there is an opportunity for you to work overseas?

When you started from nothing (poor) then your life became better (rich) and goes down.

There are too much to ask.

When I was working with a long term employer, can I do this things?

Can I go to work in anytime that I want?

Do I have freedom for speech?

Even if I’m not getting *enough* money it’s ok.

Even If I became Poor like many others here in the Philippines.

It’s ok.

Why? Because I love my work.

I love what I’m doing. I love everything!

Logical Hacking: Researching towards reality

During my free time this month, I’m conducting research about the user interaction in computers for kids and adults.

• What are the reasons why they always wanted to go online?
• Does addiction is really a reality in computers?
• What websites they access most?
• Do they know the port 80?
• When they want to access y8.com, do they used “ping” utility to check the ip-address?
• Why facebook.com is so famous that even the poor families uses it?
• Is their such thing as child hacking?
• what does the word “modern man” means?

What did I get in just few days?

• headache and stress

I certainly knew that people may ask, how about the project in Nokia? Well, It’s running know and I’m just creating some documentations and re-developing the IDE that I created.

The project is its earlier stage and it’s very difficult to rush things.

I need this things first.

• be creative
• generate new ideas in the future by monitoring how users interact with the computers
• designing things what users need most
• learned how to design things by reality

I’m creating the system and I’m sure it will takes years.

It’s only part time for now.

Life walking on the Crossroads

Few years ago, I visit my hometown during holidays and spent some time with my family.

Every Time I went back I always see new faces around the house and I’m always making a joke around and say “this is child abuse to get a cheap labor!”.

My mom and dad always likes to kept these unfortunate children and make them stay in our house. The one that we eat  everyday is the same as them.

They will just smile with me.

Sharing

After staying again for few months here, I’ve seen so many things. My mom and dad are very generous people even if they don’t have enough money for this month or so.

They always want to give help to these unfortunate people by helping there family to earn little money. They hire them to cook or clean around the house even if it’s not needed….

Thoughts

One time, Last Holy Week, I go out with them to walk from Naga City to Calabanga for several kilometers. It took us 4 hours walking along with hundreds of people.

What if the one that I’m targeting (having my masters degree abroad) will be put to help these unfortunate ones?

But If I’m became successful with my Masters Degree I can do more than that?!

I don’t know….

For now, I just want to save money for my study. I want to do bigger things beyond anything.

That’s only a dream. At least I have one! Unlike other people that I’ve seen around, instead of creating and making jobs. They just seat around and waiting for nothing.

I have plenty ideas but the problem is…. That’s only ideas.

I can’t even make money out of it because I need to hire many people to manufacture my ideas.

• I need to secure them and you need money for that.
• Everything needs money! Money makes the world go round!

It’s a waste if I cannot share them to the world….

Anyway, one step at a time. I’ll just do my best everyday.

I’m going to design now the mobile platform and start coding the idea.

Hope I’ll win in the competition! Anyway, It’s good to try.

My Half-day Rest

I’ve manage to relax myself for few hours. My hometown is really a good place to design applications, write blogs and and articles.

After several months of creating several softwares, buy new domains and setup one website, I took few hours of rest into our small hydro power plant and hot-spring resort.

This is what I missed a lot in my hometown. Even if you work for 12-15 hours a day, you can still take few hours of rest that you can’t find in other places in the world! For only few bucks!

• Natural hot spring resort (6 kilometers in my place)
• CWC (Camarines Sur Water Complex) for Wakeboarding (15 kilometers)
• Trekking around Mt. Isarog (9 kilometers in my place)
• going around the malls – LCC and SM

Going to the Hot spring resort is only around 5 dollars and awesome adventure while in a motorcycle! I brought my fathers motorcycle with me and it feels great again!

I’m full charge in just few hours! wow!

It’s really cheap here and even if I’m fully loaded of work - Stressed, I can re-charge in just few hours.

I’ve seen some foreigners like Korean and Filipina-American couple.

Anyway, I need to do a lot of things for raising money in my masters degree. I already started designing the mobile platform I’m going to build for two weeks…

What is the biggest advantage of each company?

Usually, Personal things matters no matter how good or great "you are" or the employees are.

- some people created great things in life when he’s with his wife or girlfriend.

Does Einstein created the theory of relativity when he broke up with her wife or when he’s with her?

- some people created great things in life when he’s “inspired”

- some people created great things in life when he’s “dedicated” to his job and “interested”

It really depends on the personality of the person on how to make more of his talent.

Anyway, In my side, I’m more of a “dedicated” type of person although inspiration comes too later.

I laugh when he asked me this:

How can you solved Global Warming if your in charge of it?

Usually, this type of question is a broad topic. There are many things that you need to consider and take some priority.

[Who wins?] Pacquiao versus Clottey Fight was a joke

Clottey did not do his best to fight in return. He just block all the punches and did not do anything in return.

Clottey has the advantage because he’s two pounds higher than Pacquiao and seems not hurt by all the punches landed on him.

The fight was a joke.

I don’t know if this is related to the plans of Pacquiao to go to congressional sit.

Pacquiao punches seems not anymore strong for Clottey.

At least now he needs new training and strategy for the techniques used by Clottey e.g. blocking the punches and Left Step strategy for Right-Feet Block Technique which successfully lessen the knockout punch by Pacquiao.

Pacquiao won the game but Overall the game has not been exciting.

Reality Bytes

When you are working in the city, time will just go by and usually you’ll not noticed the real-life happening around you.

Bad times and Good Times….

Yesterday something bad happens. My niece was hit by her father.

Too much irresponsible!

My parents was so angry that they get all their grandsons and make them stay here for now.

Is it ok to hit your three year old daughter for any reason?

Deep inside, I’m very angry and if that happens here, he’ll see what’s its like to be punch.

These are one of the reasons why I don’t want to have my own family yet.

I’ve seen so many things in my life that it’s better not to have one, for now.

We are all living on different groups and different lives.

I’ve been to first world countries and stayed for several years and It’s very much different on third world countries.

Getting married young is one of the problems I’ve seen here. Most of them doesn’t know how to fight and stand with their ideals.

Being poor is not a reason for that.

Being responsible is the number one virtue that we should have.

I’ve asked my niece “Do you want me to punch your father?”

she said “No! I will punch you!”.

hahahahaha….

But…. It’s not only about the money and idea.

Most of the time…. It’s all about the knowledge.

That’s why until now I’m not yet ready to start my own family because of my personality. Raising your own family then your children will suffer is not good.
